Anterior hip joint and groin pain: the physiotherapist's approach

At the end of April this year, a two-day in-person seminar was led by PT, Ph.D., Alison Grimaldi (Australia), a professor and researcher in physiotherapy with more than 30 years of clinical experience in the hip and pelvic region.
The seminar covered:
- Diagnostic pain provocation tests for determining intra-articular and extra-articular pain
- Assessment of bone morphology, joint stability, and neurodynamics
- Assessment of posture and main movement patterns in relation to specific pain and load
- Clinical reasoning strategies to determine the best approach to pain reduction and treatment, as well as to improve load tolerance
- Practical management strategies - Manual therapy - joint treatment techniques, nerve mobilization exercises for the hip joint.
